The brief was to renovate an existing ground floor house.

The main idea behind the design was to let in maximum natural light while reducing heating. Many ideas like green roof, thicker walls, green walls, etc. were proposed to reduce overall temperature of the house and thus reduce electrical consumption.

Along with creating a better micro climate, the design also increased the size of the rooms and toilets, created courtyards and drastically improved the entrance of the house.

A landscaped area with ample sheds to increase outdoor functionality was also proposed. The roof was converted into a green outdoor party space.
