The brief was to design a small compact house with green spaces in a dense bungalow community in Garia, Kolkata.

​

The entire house was kept simple with exposed concrete finish and a large brick jali that envelops the entire facade of the upper floors. This jali protects the house from the harsh west sun and provides privacy.
